Woodspirits

Woodspirits are believed to live in the woods and be the protector of all those of 'pure spirit' who enter. It is
said to be good luck if you are able to spot a Woodspirit in the trees. They were known to like to play tricks on people but could also be good and would grant wishes if a person was felt to have a kind heart.

The term 'knock on wood' is believed to have originated with hunters and woodsmen who, upon entering the forest would knock on a large old tree to awaken the Woodspirit, ensuring that no evil came to them.

When you purchase your Woodspirit, be sure to display it in a place of honour.
